"Only if you're desperate with no kids. Upstairs floors are so bad they're wavy. Major water drainage issues causes flooding in almost every ground floor apartment when the lot drains back up, foundations are shot and leak. Bugs and mold everywhere and they're just hoping you don't notice. Management would rather violate your lease than follow it, even if you are a long term good tenant. No assigned parking, no doorbell on the outside of the building."

"I am so very happy with my decision to rent here even though there are some not so nice reviews. Anne in the office is GREAT!! She has made this transition amazing!! The maintenance guys on site are awesome too. They are always working hard . My apartment is perfect and my cats love it here too. Great location!!!"

"We just moved out of Poplar Gardens due to buying a house. We have absolutely loved living at this complex. Where ever you go there will be issues however, when I read some of the things that were written by previous tenants I totally disagreed . The Maintenance guys that are on site are GREAT!!! I have never seen them drink or have they ever been under the influence. They get the job done in a timely manor. Yes , the office has gone through some transitions over the years but the girl that's in there now is great!! She knows her stuff when it comes to managing and has improved this property by getting many of the "trouble makers" out. She is easy to talk to and is very attentive. This has been a great experience and we will highly recommend to our friends and family."

"This was my first apartment, which I am currently on my second lease with and have LOVED living here. I’ve never had any issues or felt unsafe, people keep to themselves for the most part. Any maintenance issues I’ve had the office has been quick to address and gotten fixed in a timely manner. The front door of each building requires a key for access, which is a nice security. I have lived in both upstairs and downstairs apartments, and although the floors/walls are thin, the noise hasn’t been an issue (Depends mostly on your neighbors). Location is great with grocery stores, gyms, the mall and hospital all within 2 miles of the complex. There has been a turnover of office managers, but overall I highly recommend this complex!"

"if you have considered this place you better reconsider!! people park wherever they feel like including the lawn. they will bill you unnecessarily for things you didn't do so be aware!! The man below me brought bed bugs home from his vacation and they billed me 712.18 to spray my apartment where they found two (2) bugs. He was responsible and they knew it but yet they still billed me. They didn't even tell me i was responsible nor did they send a bill. They sent a late notice with an additional 50.00. Then they threatened legal action if i didn't pay it in full upon receiving the bill. There is absolutely nothing in the lease that says you are responsible for bedbugs or flea extermination so DO NOT PAY THESE BILLS. Take them to your attorney!!! and whatever you do..............request that you never get into bldg 5. The man in the downstairs apartment thinks he is entitled to three parking spots due to his motorcycles and he is the one that brought home bedbugs fr the entire building. People from all other buildings will park in your spot and nothing you can do. Mgmt expects you to park 1/2 mile away and walk. And do not send any emails to corporate due to them never even responding to one of them. They could care less about you, as long as the rent is on time. And yet they cannot even keep someone in the office for issues that pertain to the apartment. Many times i had to call the Gates police due to barking dogs all night long. I could go on and on about the one hot water tank between 15 units or the fact that we had no hot water the week between Christmas and New Years 2016. and they had three maintenance men out there 3 different times. I had to call the Housing Council about that one. But GOOD LUCK IN APARTMENT HUNTING!"
