"When my AC went out at the top of the summer season, my home warranty came through, but barely. However, through my warranty I was matched with the amazing team at Powell's who really made the difference in my AC replacement situation. The warranty company didn't do a good job of communicating, scheduling, and they even made repeat mistakes ordering parts, but the team at Powell's kept in contact, escalated issues to the right people, and in the end when my warranty company STILL couldn't get it right, the Powell's crew went exceedingly above and beyond to hunt down the right part(s) and got the installation done, instead of going in circles with the warranty company, which would have continued to prolong the installation. I have to say, my family and I have been quite comfortable since our AC was replaced, and I doubt our experience would have had such a great outcome were it not for the Powell's Team. "The only good thing I have to say about them is that they are respectful. I had them come in and replace a heat exchanger in my boiler that they installed 3 years prior. They said it wasn't under warranty, but heat exchangers are usually under warranty for years. So I had to pay for that, then they blew out one of my base board pipes when the technician was filling the system by holding pressure valve open the whole time. Another thing I had to pay for. The boiler fired up started heating up the house. The technician decides to put flame board cover on while the boiler is still running, remind you the cover is metal so it got hot very fast. He couldn't get the hole to line up so he takes something metal and prys between the cover and the control panel. Of course the board shorts out now the boiler can't get any power. Even though the technician admitted to doing what he did no responsibility was taken by the company. So I paid over 2300 hundred for a wall ornament and no heat."

"After over a year of research I recently purchased pioneer ductless AC units based on reviews ratings and price. I quickly ran into an issue where most of the local HVAC companies were not interested in installing anything other than products that they sold and were trying to force feed me Mitsubishi/LG/or whatever brand they were mark up the price on. I had a few companies provide me quotes (reasonable and unreasonable) and when I attempted to schedule with an initial company, i was given an install date and that date came and went with no call or response to my calls texts or emails. I came across Powell's Heating & Cooling (going alphabetical order from listings) and within a few hours of my initial call I received a call back from Erick who took the time to listen to my dilemma and scheduled a time the very next day to come look at the equipment I ordered, where i wanted to have it installed, and told me he would get me a quote that evening. To my surprise I received the quote within a few hours and he answered my call and clarified a few questions I had. I was given an install date that was within a week and I happily paid the down payment so that I could finally get the AC unit that was delivered over a month ago installed. On the morning my install was scheduled for I was anxious and nervous given my previous experience with other HVAC companies. I received a text message letting me know the crew would be there at around 10 am and like clockwork they showed up in full force. This crew loves their job and were great with my pets, nice to my family, and did an incredible job with the install. These guys worked relentlessly all day and into the evening installing the handlers, the AC unit, cleanly ran wire and conduit (meticulously ran and looks great), the lineset, and the cover over the lineset. That evening which was an extremely hot day, i was able to cool down with my newly installed AC. I called with a few questions the next week and they were still helpful with warranty paperwork for Pioneer and when the lineset cover piece that initially wasn't provided with delivery came in, they came back and put that on. I highly recommend Powell's Heating & Cooling."
