"I called Stack's small engine repair after my snow blower quit during a winter storm, the only company to take my call during a storm when I am sure everyone was flooded with service calls. Fran came to my house and picked up the machine within hours and his first priority was getting my machine back to me ASAP given we would be getting more snow overnight. I received a call the next day with the issue diagnosed and repair options for me to choose from. In my case I decided to move forward with buying a new machine and Fran went above and beyond to recommend dealers/machines to best suit my needs. These days it is getting harder and harder to find quality/timely customer service and that is exactly what Stacks small engine repair offers. "I sought a recommendation for a small engine repair shop for snowblowers a few weeks ago. Thanks for all the comments. John Relosky called me directly and enthusiastically recommended Stack Small Engine Service and Repair. Francis Stack (Fran) quickly diagnosed the main issue, a broken head….don’t ask how. Parts were ordered and a complete and very fair repair was promptly made. The second snowblower was thoroughly tuned up. Do yourself a favor if your repair skills are limited (like me) and save his contact info. UPDATE: Fran is the absolute best! The snowblowers worked perfect on their first outing. Unfortunately today (1/14/24) during the Blizzard that postponed the Bills game, my machine wouldn’t start. I sent a quick video to Fran hoping it could be easily diagnosed. Fran immediately responded and we discussed the issue. He then offered to drive over to assist. Again, it’s a blizzard outside. After checking the spark plug, valves and carburetor he decided to swap out the spark plug. Fran wouldn’t quit and insisted that I not be left without the this machine working. Final diagnosis was too much stabilizer. My failure. I can’t thank him enough for his efforts well beyond expectations."
