"TLDR: Manicure looks nice/ came out well Everyone was nice But….. SUPER painful, even hours later Are they clean clean? Or just clean? Beware of charges/ pricing Details: I’m sitting here with throbbing nails 12 hours after getting them done… The nail tech I had was nice but seemed extremely rushed and seemed very annoyed (at me? My nails? The weather?). I asked her to just file them a bit and she cut them down to much shorter than I wanted. (No big deal, they’ll grow back.) but the roughness in which she aggressively FILED…. I kept saying it hurt and pulling my hand back, and she’d politely apologize and yank it forward. She sprayed her metal tools down and sealed them in the disinfectant pouch, but then put the closed pouch back in her drawer as if it was cleaned. (Maybe she has a few pouches in there of “to be disinfected”?) but now my throbbing nails make me wonder… Prices were made up. I paid by card “$45 for card but next time if you pay cash it’s $40.” Ok totally get the up charge for a credit card. Excessive up charge, but I get it. She asked me how much to add for tip (as one charge not as total plus tip like on a restaurant check)… I told her $10. I come back and SURPRISE! “extra charge for tipping on the card”… my $40 manicure has become a $60 one."

"Got a powder gel manicure done on Monday. It’s now Thursday and my middle finger is chipped (happened within 6 hours of leaving) and both of my thumbs are chipped. Also one of my pointer fingers is cracked. I went back to get them fixed and they told me I should have called ahead and to come back a different day. I live a half hour away and told them this is all the time I had and they told me I should have called before I drove over and they’d fix it a different day."
