Reviews of Yorktown Community Dog Park
"There are 2 areas. One for large dogs and the other one for small dogs. The large dog area is huge and there's plenty of space for them to run and play. There are some toys and a lot of tennis balls all over. There's always dogs there . There's no running water. There's a storage box with gallons of water, but bring water just in case. Many of us bring a full gallon and take an empty one every time. People are friendly, dogs are friendly. The best part is that if there's no dog for your dog to play with you can always go for a hike, since there are a lot of hiking trails."
"The actual dog run was really big and had a ton of toys in it for the dogs to play with. The hike itself isn't the most scenic compared to some other places, but if you keep your dog on a short leash around some of the higher areas, it's a great casual hike to take your pet on. We took the white trail to the blue trail and turned back around when the blue trail met the purple trail. Definitely some cool rock formations. Group also spent 45 minutes trying to find a geocache."
"Great, big park where dogs can play. The best part is that there are always dogs there, so your best friend will not have to play alone."
"Divided by large and smaller dogs, all the dogs were well behaved. We didn’t meet any smaller dogs though:("
