"It's a very pleasant park with the river flowing through it. We stopped just to have a bite to eat next to the river and go for a short walk on the trail along the river. Very nice"

"The water is high in the spring and has a swift current but it calms down later in the summer where you can walk out and sit in the cooling water. Or, you can throw in a line and try your luck at fishing. There are picnic tables and grills and a port a potty. There is also walking path next to the river."
