"I have mixed feelings about this state park. I give the staff and the very clean modern bathrooms a 5 star. Also the water view is beautiful. But it is a very small park with little privacy between sites. The only reason to be here is to drive to Alex bay to do a boat tour of Boldt Castle and go to Clayton to the boat museum."
"Beautiful area but the camp sites are very tight! If staying here I would recommend a river site if available to catch the best view of the sunsets!"

"Sunsets are amazing, campground is small, packed with sites one on top of the other, and the wind seemed like it was going to actively blow our tent away. If you fish you will definitely catch a whole lot of gobies. The playground is very nice, showers are warm but with no adjustable temp, and a button you have to push frequently. You will have to wait in line to pee in the morning because each bathroom cubicle has a shower and a toilet and will fill up with everyone showering."
