"Stopped in for dinner on a Friday evening without a reservation. Was welcomed despite that, and given a seat at the bar. Bar tender served up a terrific old fashioned. Enjoyed my burger , but what struck me more was how much the staff seemed to enjoy each other , and interacting with their guests. Would definitely return."
"Joseph Leonard offers a beautiful space and a commendable staff, creating a welcoming environment. However, the overall dining experience fell short as the food lacked flavor, prompting us to send back one dish. Additionally, the cocktails were somewhat flavorless. Despite these shortcomings, the excellent service and appealing ambiance make it a place worth considering."
"Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. Alan is an inviting host whom I remember well. Love the cauliflower appetizer. The blue cheese complimented the steak well. I also enjoyed the roasted eggplant in the ratatouille!"
"I gave this place a 2/5 star rating because, while the service was excellent, the food left much to be desired. The standout was definitely our waiter, who was attentive, helpful, and very entertaining. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the same standard. I would strongly advise against coming here solely for the food. The cocktails were a positive aspect of the experience, but the food itself was disappointing. It seemed like a lot of effort was put into the dishes, but they simply didn't deliver in terms of taste and quality. The fries were a particular letdown, resembling leftover bits of potatoes that were cooked to a crisp. While the service was top-notch, the subpar food experience means that I won't be returning to this establishment."
"Charming spot on a corner - went here early on a sunny weekday morning. Just a nice classy vibe overall - worth checking out the photos from others. For food, I wasn't starving and went for the breakfast sandwich - egg, cheese, jalapenos on a English muffin. No meat by default but I figured I'd give it a shot - maybe the spice would carry it to delicious victory. It looked like it was put together with love but unfortunately was pretty bland? Maybe not enough peppers or I should have added another protein. Next time I'll give the avocado toast a shot instead. Wife got the mushroom croquet and that looked pretty great. Lots of cheese with a bed of mushrooms below. I regret not stealing a bite. As for service, waitress was nice, but after attempting awkward eye contact for a while I did have to get up to get some ketchup since she was distracted. Not a big deal, place was quiet so I get it. Looking forward to giving it another shot."
