"An interactive museum on the history and future of energy and electricity! Fun for both kids and adults. Kids earn gold badges for completely various activities using their ID card. Everyone was really nice. We went on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and the place was next to empty minus a few people. The movie on Tesla is a bit quirky but the 3d was really something."
"This was an unexpected awesome trip! We went to the zoo and then decided to take a peek inside. There was a 3d movie and hands on interactives for all ages. You learn about how NY gets it's electricity, history of electric discoveries, and kids design a town electric grid. She fun!! And there was no cost!!! Definitely check this place out!"
"Amazing exhibition on the history of electric power with a focus on New York State. Principles of electricity are explained in a number of interactive displays, and the impacts of renewable energy are similarly imparted. Directed at school-age children, but fun and informative for adults as well. Strongly recommended."
"Such a cool little interactive museum! Great place to learn about NY’s energy journey - something for all ages. There are interactive exhibits, games to play, and tons of educational content - I especially liked the focus towards the end on renewables and job prospects for young people getting into the working world. I left feeling inspired and had some good fun! Would definitely recommend."
"Phenomenal new attraction in Utica that's perfect for any age. It's open 7 days a week and FREE to visit (and also located right next to the Utica Zoo!). You will have the chance to learn all about New York's history with power and energy, where the state is presently and what the future looks like. Super interactive and hands-on... like learning how to build grids and what it's like to work on powerlines. Add this spot to your list of where to visit with the kids, friends or anyone!"
