"We were regular customers and supported this small business in our community until an unpleasant experience today. I bought a Cabernet that was on special/clearance yesterday and when I opened it to have a glass in the evening I discovered that it tasted strange. I wasn't able to drink it as I thought something was wrong with it and it just tasted terrible. I brought it back today thinking maybe they would give me credit and let me pick out something different. I understand the owner's position that she couldn't do that for me, however, I didn't appreciate that she seemed to have an attitude about just tossing it out for me. She got a little snippy with me and said she really didn't have anywhere to throw it out and I could just throw it out myself. They don't have a garbage can there? Ultimately, she tasted it and said it was fine. Anyway, I normally don't write reviews that are poor, but I just feel that having been a loyal customer, I had to say something. I will now go over to a store near ShopRite, which actually has cheaper prices by about three and four dollars a bottle, rather than support this business. The other business, is actually very friendly and the staff is knowledgeable. So they have my business now. I am not a business owner, however I think what happened today was poor customer service and they lost our business because of it."
