"Bought a nice bottle of French wine for a friends house warming, and 2 blocks away the bag the gave me ripped and the wine fell out and broke. When I asked if they replaced it they said they are not responsible for anything once I leave the store. I have had good experiences with them before and I live right across the street but I will not be returning. Plenty of wine stores around that are just as good."

"Only went in once and would not return. There was no one in the store when I went in at 6 pm, and two staff members who were behind the counter laughing and joking. I waited five minutes but no one paid attention. I finally asked for help and the girl came over, I wanted to buy a dozen bottles and have them delivered, and she informed me that I could select them all, but would then have to place the whole order online, as they could not have me buy everything in store, pay for it, then get it delivered. Are you serious? They showed absolutely no interest in selling anything and I don’t want to go through so much inconvenience so I just left."

"This is my favorite wine store in NYC! Everyone is so friendly and Emil, the manager is the best! They have weekly tastings which are so fun and allow the customers to try out new wines. I was so happy when this opened in my neighborhood. I definitely suggest going here and ask for Emil, he will take good care of you."
