"The beach is overall good, better than we expected. The water is brownish in colour, and the quality is just good, not the best. One among the best beaches located on Hudson River, however, you can't get the joy of huge waves, as the waves are too small, but still, good to enjoy."

"Nice beach, could be cleaner if people picked up their trash. Lifeguards are useless, check the photo of their umbrella blocking half the view of the beach. Saw a young kid walk in almost over their head and they didn't even budge. What are they being paid for??? Makes me sick."

"Beautiful view, it is a nice little beach . Water is very well temporarily .Covered pavilion, playground, volleyball nets. Nice Sandy beach .Bathrooms are permanent and clean. And there are plenty of barbecue setups all around and there is a whole separate part which is all picnic tables …"

"Nice beach on the river with a roped off swimming area. There are no dogs allowed on this beach. Disappointed at so many people leaving their garbage instead of carrying it 30 feet to a garbage can. The water is a bit brown in color but seems pretty clean and warm. There are shady areas at either end of the beach with nice tree cover. Bathrooms and a nice Pavillion. Wear water shoes or sandals as the sand and pavement get very hot."

"This beach over looks the huge bridge going over the Hudson river north. Its also situated between a large rock and a park with bbq stations. There is plenty of parking and its free to go here . The water is warm and inviting not very deep either. Perfect place to bring the kids for a beach day, play fetch with your dog, or just read a book and listen to the tide roll in ."
