"I go on a regular bases and the employees are very friendly and always willing to help and give me suggestions. I enjoy the activities and socializing. Also enjoy the different professions they have come in and share their knowledge with members."

"Nice historic building and new building with pool, spa and gym. Nice locker rooms, handicap accommodations. Staff are friendly and informative. Right in my neighborhood. Lifespan on site serving Us elders. Come down and give it a look"

"I hadn't been in the Maplewood Y in probably 30 years and ....WOW!!!!! Has it changed all for the better!!! Plenty of parking, nice locker rooms, a huge pool! The old basketball courts are now the cardio, free weight, nautilus station (still has the beautiful hardwood floors that must be a 100 years old!). I didn't get through the whole Y but what I saw was great! The best part was the Front Desk STAFF!!! The ladies there were helpful, nice AND had a sense of humor!!!! A fellow John Marshall Alum steered me in the right direction! They even answer the phone when I called, a real live person! 5 Stars all the way around!!!! 10 out of 10!"

"Maplewood is my favorite YMCA, because it is small and the members and staff are personable and compassionate. It seems like everyone knows your name. Especially Franca and some of the other staff. My favorite classes for older active adults are Saturday aqua Zumba, Monday Zumba in the gym and especially Urban line dance class offered by Lady p. Lifespan's, Lilly Cafe is a nice hang out for seniors, they offer many activities, classes and hot lunch on Tuesday . However, I would like more of the classes I mention. Check them out!"

"Great YMCA overall, good facilities, engaging staff, good community vibes, but leadership needs to improve relative addressing and resolving client concerns. YMCA here should have better system for a receipt system as well. They offer no consistent receipt system for monthly fees. Leadership is more corporate than community oriented."
