"It wasn't even open, expected to go for a nice swim and the pool was empty, the website says it was open so idk"
"This is an a amazing swimming park I love it I went there a couple of times and they were all a great time even my friends taught me to swim there and I thank them and the life guards they are very kind and very nice I definitely recommend!!!"
"This pool is free, big, and has a nice view. However, there is nowhere to sit down. I, an adult who gets tired after a few laps and hoped to rest, suggested benches to 2 white lifeguards, and they told me, "these kids are too dangerous. They'll throw it at each other." This makes me sad, that children of color start out with such negative expectations. The lifeguards exhibited racism. I wish authority figures could instill hope, responsibility and positivity in children of color. How different of a response I would have received in a public pool in a whiter neighborhood! (They would have said," thanks for the suggestion. We will look into it.") The only place to sit down is on the dirty ground in the hot sun. How would anyone use a cemented-down bench to "throw at each other?" It is not a comfortable place to be in terms of nowhere to sit down and rest, and I am sad about the racist attitudes. Black children don't even have a place to sit down! Racism is built into the architecture of this public pool, with the lack of places to sit in a dignified manner."
"The kids n I went swimming for a bit n it wasn't overly crowded n the life guards r very attentive here at least"
"Four Stars here, big pool pool is clean but gets crowded very quickly. Pool doesn't open until 1 due to swimming lessons. Have to do a test if your not tall enough just to get in the water then everybody has to do a test to go to the deep end even adult."
