Tops Xpress

"I stopped in on Sunday midday to exchange a propane tank. There was no one visible in the store, so I opened the door with the tank in my hand. The attendant walked out from the back and told me I had to put the tank outside. I said ok and that I’d meet him out there. I waited and he didn’t come out so I left the tank and came back in the store. He wasn’t in the front again and slowly came out from the back. I said I was waiting out there and thought he was coming out. He very rudely barked at me that I needed to pay for it first. I asked him why he had to be so rude to me and he said that he already had to tell me to put the tank outside, speaking to me like I was a child. I told him I would take my business elsewhere and left. Totally unacceptable behavior. I had said nothing rude to justify his response to me. Living a couple blocks away I have frequented the store but will no longer."

"Don't buy gas from here at the pump. I purchased 10$ in gas in my motorcycle and they took 200$ out of my account as a "hold". Just ridiculous."

"Stopped here a day after an ice storm. Cars were at the other pumps. I buzzed the attendant for assistance because two pumps were covered in ice. No one came, no one showed any interest in providing assistance."

"Don’t go there if you have ca$h money. No, I’m serious lol...They refused me service because I was paying with a $100 bill. Poor guy working there has to turn money away because the managers can’t afford the money markers or black light machine to prove their authenticity. I thought he was “pulling my leg”, but then showed me the sign they had at the register and if I had a concern, I could call/write a letter to write management. I knew there was nothing he could do, but a review is more helpful to warn others before their stop. Maybe this is a sign to move the store to a better location? Best part about this situation....I was able to find gas 3 cents per gallon cheaper at speedway down the street :)"

"The kids in this station are always friendly. Every time you walk in they always smile and say hello. The manager merita runs that store well, she always asks me how I am doing. Too bad they closed the market, many people tell me how they miss it. Glad that they didn't close the gas station too, it's a convenient place to have right around the corner!"
