"Hotel was very nice. Very well maintained, elevators very quick and smooth and very friendly/professional staff. Room was on the small side but just enough room for suitcases on the floor and there was a small closet for storage. Nice details like shelves in the bathroom made it easy to organize the toiletries. The one area of improvement was the service in the restaurant. Staff seemed to be disorganized; service ended up being very slow and felt inattentive due to this. Wifi was very good. Breakfast was very good. Bed comfort was good enough."
"Stayed at Grayson for 2 nights and had a great experience. Staff was really friendly and accommodating, a short walk to Times Square but far enough to be away from the big crowds. We had breakfast both mornings which was really good! We also ordered room service one of the nights. The food and drinks came in a timely manner and was still warm. Also, great views from the rooftop bar. I would definitely start at Grayson again!"
"I stayed at the Grayson Hotel late spring of 2023 and we got the King Bed room. I enjoyed the dark wooden walls/flooring meeting the exposed concrete ceiling. The room was fairly small albeit that's to be expected for NYC and for a location within 15 mins walking distance of Times Square and even less to head over to Bryant Park - one of my favourite pastimes in the city! Unfortunately, we had virtually no view to the point that we could not tell whether it was sunny outside but we didn't spend much time in the room so it wasn't too much of a problem. Both the bathroom ledge across the mirror and the desk in the room is handy storage for placing things and I liked how the bathroom was designed. We did not experience too long of elevator wait times and the staff and concierge were always friendly and welcoming on our way in and out. I would recommend this hotel to others and also would like to stay here again when I visit the city."
"We loved our 2 night stay at the Grayson! The location is perfect for anything you want to do in Midtown. The rooms are on the smaller side as usual for any NYC hotel but they are beautifully designed to make the most out of the space. The lighting in the rooms is also thoughtful to make the room seem bigger. Our room was very quiet and even had a fabulous view of the Empire State Building! This has been by far the best elevator experience of any NYC hotel we have ever stayed at - we never waited more than a minute or two for the lift. We asked the front desk for a dinner recommendation near by and they had a great recommendation that we loved. We ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant one morning and the food was delicious and came out quickly. The staff overall was very happy, helpful, and genuine. We had a great stay and would without hesitation stay here again in the future."
"The room was cute and small as expected in NYC. We appreciated the modern design and cleanliness. I think they need to improve on minor things like the quantity of pillows and towels. The bed had 3 pillows instead of 4 (which I think is standard in every hotel we have stayed at.) A lack of towels too was a bit disappointing. If this was improved I think it could be 5 stars for the price and location. Staff was very kind and helpful though. Upstairs bar had an amazing view, but was disappointing being out of a lot of drink options that we left. The hotel is close to times square, but not right on it perfect for us because times square isn't our preferred place."
