Hotel AKA NoMad 131 Madison Avenue, Manhattan, New York 10016

"We stayed here as a family of 4 in the Christmas holiday period. We loved the people at the hotel (special mentioning is required for Blake!) and we enjoyed the excellent location. Beds were comfortable. The family rooms we booked were not very spacious but that is to be expected for New York. We found the temperature in the rooms and the breakfast room way too high but apparently there is nothing that can be done about that."

"Excellent service from everyone there, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Christopher and Ian were especially helpful, as was the woman working at the front desk on weekday mornings. Convenient and safe location, 20 blocks from Rockefeller Center and just a short walk from Empire State Bldg. Great little restaurants within walking distance."

"Great hotel! Rooms are unique! We had a great view of the Empire State Building from our balcony. We went to their bar in the lobby for a late afternoon snack and drink. The expresso martinis are delicious. Food was good. Then coming back late from our night out the overnight doorman and front desk manager were great!! Definitely will stay here again!!!"

"Great Location @ Madison and 31st. Modern Hotel, the room is tiny yet cozy and fine decorated. The Bathroom is excellent and the bed very comfortable with nice linen. We stayed for 2 Nights and after the first one they did not make the bed.. we had to request. Valet Parking available for 70(!!) USD per night"

"I stumbled upon this hotel after 200 flights were canceled at JFK and they were the only location within an hour of the airport with a room. To my pleasant surprise, this is a gorgeous hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. I ended up with a suite, which was spacious and luxuriously comfortable. The room was situated where I couldn’t hear the traffic on Madison Ave. their hotel-supplied toiletries were quality and smelled fantastic. The room included a kitchenette outfitted with a for-purchase mini bar and complimentary espresso. I will remember this hotel the next time I’m staying in NYC. Fantastic location in the heart of Manhattan."
