"This is confusingly listed as an organic market, but it's also just a regular run of the mill small grocery / bodega type place as well. I am going to use the word grocery as many times as I can in this review because when we stayed across the street it didn't turn up in a search for "grocery", so we walked 10 blocks up the hill for groceries when we could have just crossed the street. Decent groceries, typical NYC / Brooklyn prices, open 24, better selection than most, and yes, they also have a lot of organic stuff, plus a deli. And groceries. It's a grocery store. With groceries. The groceriest."

"We found this deli and small store while staying at Townplace. We had bagels, sandwiches from the deli and drinks and fruit from the store. Everything was fresh and organic. The deli food was so good! Thanks Green Ivy."

"I stayed in the TownePlace hotel right around the corner from Green Ivy and it quickly became my daily stop for a sandwich, salad, etc. They had the very beat blackberries I have ever eaten and a fabulous beer selection. Clerks were friendly and I really wish my neighborhood had a Green Ivy!"

"Had 2 weeks in Brooklyn and stopped here for breakfast every morning. The gentlemen in the deli are fantastic and always have a laugh (regardless of my Auzzie accent). The shop has gorgeous flowers lining the outside with a range of great fruit. Prices are cheap as can be and there are deals everyday. Plenty of Asian ingredients too if you're after something in particular. Love it here :)"
