"Would not recommend this motel. It is not in the best condition. The a/c - Heater does not work. The rooms are old and not in the best of shape."

"Recently spent several days in the Fairport area and stayed at the Budget Inn. The staff are friendly, the rooms nicely decorated, clean and quiet. I am no world traveler, but for the amenities you probably could not do better than to make this you base while traveling to the Rochester area. Near shopping, the thruway, and restaurants. "The annual music festival brought us to Fairport, but the Budget Inn saved our vacation. Fairport is not a big town. Most of the local hotels were booked long ago. We were starting to look around Rochester for a place to stay. Fortunately, a friend of ours mentioned the Budget Inn about three miles from the festival. This is certainly not the kind of hotel everybody clamors for...at first glance. Some of our friends knew the owners and clued us in. The initial impression is to not even slow down. But we're glad we did. This place has been around for years. The hotel rooms were spacious and clean. The owners take great pride in their work. Delightful people that obviously care about their guests. The night before we left the owner stopped by to check with us to see if we enjoyed our stay. Try and get that level of service at a Hilton. One of the most memorable points was their garden. They have a beautiful array of flowers and vegetables right in the center of the hotel. They grow all their own food. Talk about fresh!"
