"The female who handles refunds outright insulted and embarrassed me when I had to call back more than once about a double charge. She even threatened to call the police because she said I was “harassing” her?? She also said “if you were so hard up for money then you shouldn’t have stayed here (or tried to stay here). She, also, said “I don’t know where you’re from, but things are different here”. I’m a local who needed some quiet for work. The “accusations” and nasty comments were untrue and outright disturbing from someone who works in vacation or customer service. Completely unprofessional and would definitely not recommend staying at the resort at all."

"Stayed 3 months. Every aspect of the quality and service were excellent. Many celebrities stay here. I now know why.The restaurant, fudge shop,gift and amenities are refreshing. I highly recommend. Webbs for an exciting relaxing experience."

"I should have read the reviews firsts, but my wife, who spent a lot of time in the Chautauqua area in the late 1900s, wanted to stay there. First concern that should have alerted me was that we could check in at noon. Then we were given the actual room keys. The room we were given had messed up beds and towels on the bathroom floor. Finally, the bathroom appeared to be Handicap Compliant, wide doors, large room, many grab rails, but....the bath tub was a jacuzzi type with a very high edge. Both my wife and I had problems getting in and out, and elected to leave the following morning without taking a shower. The manager said they had one handicap compliant unit but is was booked. Also had one unit with a smaller tub, but with only one small grab rail. I would not recommend not staying here, especially if you have any handicap concerns."
