"We came up for the fall leaves and they did not disappoint. This campground is huge with lots of seasonal/permanent trailers but they are well cared for and almost like tiny houses. There's access to the lake, a beautiful pool, playgrounds, and a petting zoo. They have a large camp store and helpful office staff. We definitely plan to return in the summer to take full advantage of the amenities!"
"Well maintained grounds. General store on site. Lots for the kids to do. Pool, basketball, fishing, you name it. Seasonal KOA amenities all worked as intended. Only downside was busy road right behind our site. Very loud even overnight."
"Nice campgro7nds, most sites are not level, shows don't work or are missing a shower head. Bathroom toilet seats were cleaned with a toilet bowl cleaner and were left to dry on the seat. ,young gir ok s are not good at helping or accommodating their customers at Che k in, too many small sites with puddles."
"tent sites were decently sized and you have your pick of shade / sun. bathrooms / shower houses were consistently dirty. water pressure was so abysmal that the toilets would not flush which was disgusting. campground is mostly seasonal campers / permanent sites, and some were nice and some were rude with light/noise pollution at night, mowing grass very early on a saturday morning, and pressure washing RVs and decks the entire day. would not stay here again."
"I did not stay here, only toured the campground with an eye toward staying. My objections were based on the criteria I use to judge campgrounds: privacy, amenities, location. The executive sites were somewhat more private, tucked into a row of trees near the lake. All others near the water looked like an open, flat parking lot. No trees, no landscaping. The majority of the full hookup sites were near the main road and, for some godforsaken reason, they had clear cut all the trees and stuffed sites on top of each other. Again, a hot, public, featureless parking lot. Unappealing. It did look like their general store was sizeable and, if your only criteria was water access on a dock, you did have that, but if you're looking for a camp lot that gave you reasons to stay, it wasn't here."
