"I found the examining room to be filthy, and mentioned same to the receptionist. Dr. Steve Orshan allegedly performed unnecessary tests that were not covered, and subsequently dismissed by my health insurance, which normally covered everything. I told the Dr. that I had a substantial montly insurance bill, and wanted to stay within the parameeters of my coverage. Unfortunately, allegedly this practice appears to be all about the business of medicine/billing. In other words, maximizing your billing and much less concern about the health/well-being of their patients. I patently refuse to be taken advantage of in this maner. I called the office and refused to pay above my co-pay. I steer way clear of physicians, and practices of this ilk. I reported same to my referring physician, so that other patients wound not have to experience this debacle. I now see a great much more professional pulmonologist nearby. My recommendation is to SAVE YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY AND JUST STAY WAY CLEAR OF this practice!!!"
