"I NEVER LEAVE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON ANY BUSINESS BUT PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE THE FRONT DESK PEOPLE ARE USELESS, RUDE AND THE DOCTORS ARE EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND JUST WANT TO CHARGE YOUR INSURANCE. THEY DO WHATEVER THEY WANT INSTEAD OF WHAT YOU ARE ASKING TO COME IN FOR. I BROUGHT MY BROTHER IN FOR AN HHA FORM PHYSICAL TO BE FILLED OUT FOR HIS JOB AND A TB SCREENING. "DR" KURESHI OR WHATEVER HER NAME IS INSTEAD WENT AND DID HER OWN THING AFTER WE HAD VARIOUS TIMES EXPLAINED TO HER THE FRONT DESK AND THE MEDICAL ASSISTANT WHAT WE WHERE THERE FOR SHE HAD BLOOD DRAWN OUT WHEN THAT WAS NOT APART OF THE FORM HE NEEDED TO BE FILLED OUT NOR WAS IT EVER ASKED FOR. DID NOT FILL OUT THE FORM WHICH WE BROUGHT IN AND INSTEAD DECIDED TO SCHEDULE HIM FOR A SECOND APPOINTMENT TO FILL OUT A FORM WHICH HAS ABOUT 6 YES/NO QUESTIONS ON IT TO BE ANSWERED BY THE DR BUT YET CLAIMED SHE HAD TO SEE HIM FOR A SECOND APPOINTMENT FOR THAT TO BE DONE AKA CHARGE THE INSURANCE. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST MEDICAL OFFICE WE HAVE EVER DEALT WITH AND MY BROTHER LOST OUT ON 2 WEEKS OF WORK DUE TO THESE IDIOTS WHO WORK THERE. IF I COULD PUT 0 STARS I WOULD THEY'RE LUCKY THEY GOT 1."
"I have been unable to consistently get prescription medication renewals. CVS pharmacy has also complained to me about them too. I go for sometimes two weeks without much need meds and I'm forced to find a new doctor."
"Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with the billing department. I scheduled an annual checkup however, the doctor charged me as an office visit. I contacted the billing department numerous times, and no one answers the phone for a couple of months, and I was lucky one time to leave a voice mail since all other times the voice mail box was full however they never got back to me. I sent them a letter asking to waive my copay, in response to my letter they sent my bill to the collection agency. Very unprofessional team who have no idea how to retain and attract patients and how to provide a customer service. Unfortunately, this will be my first and last visit to this office."
"Lets start with the good Dr Park was nice though he seemed over worked. The lady I spoke to in billing was nice and took the time to explain what had happened. That is it. Moving on to all the bad. First visit i waited an hour and a half just to see doctor park change out of his jacket and walk out the back door. upon seeing this I went to the front desk and was informed that even though I had scheduled a visit with doctor park I was not going to be able to see him because he had a prior engagement. - So then why schedule me in. Its ok this was not the worst of it. During my visit I on 3 separate occasions asked the doctor and staff if my blood work was going to cost money. Dr Park confirmed it was not twice. I even asked the man at the front desk when he was checking me out he informed me he checked my insurance and said it was not. So as such i consented to a blood work under the understanding it was not going to cost any money. A month passed and to my surprise I get a bill from Quest diagnostics saying that I needed to pay money for the blood work. I was surprised and upset, not because the money is an issue but because I felt lied to and betrayed by people that I am suppose to trust. I proceeded to call the office and was connected to a nice lady in Billing who explained to me that they could not have known if it was going to cost money or not because they can not keep track of all the different insurance, WHICH MAKES PERFECT SENSE! I understand that I just wished that that was what I was informed when i asked Dr Park twice and asked the man at the front desk. If they had simply explained to me that they did not have the answers and informed me as to where i could find the answer then I would not have faulted them. That would have been the ethical and responsible thing to do. Needless to say I believe what your staff has done is unethical! I urge that management properly train staff to handle inquires such as mine better in the future. Honesty and Trust is needed when you are running a medical practice. If people do not trust you then sooner or later if you piss of the right person it will come and bite you. With this all said, I have canceled all future visits to your practice and i will be sure to NOT recommend Medical associates Bayside or any of your other locations to Family friends and Co workers. Please Please Please make adjustments. If not for your patients then for your business!"
"The doctors are very thorough but the staff is very incompetent. I had been trying to get an appointment since December and finally got one for mid February. I arrived to the clinic 45 mins before my appointment time. I don't mind waiting if I'm early. However, when I arrived I was informed that there were no doctors at the office for the rest of the day. They claimed to have had made two phone calls, both which I never received (I double checked my call log). They then proceeded to make excuses and told me that the girl who made the phone calls had also left for the day. It is not easy taking time out of work to have a much needed doctors appointment cancelled on you after arriving at the doctors office. All the positive reviews are from more than a year ago. The more recent reviews are accurate."
