"I used to love downtown primary and the doctor I saw there. I recommended them to people in my life and trusted them. Then they decided to move to a “concierge” model which costs $2000 just to be a part of-this isn’t including what you already have to pay for insurance and copays. I am so deeply disappointed that they decided they only want to provide care to the wealthy. They dressed it up as wanting more time to spend with patients….yes, more time to spend with wealthy patients-i bet that’s great for the people who can afford the concierge price tag. However, it means the rest of us don’t have access to their care period. Pretending to increase access when in reality you’re severely decreasing it is unconscionable. I don’t know if the decision was driven by greed or was required for their business to stay afloat, but either way I’ve been negatively impacted. Sharing my experience here in case it’s useful to others."
"Dr. Janicik is fantastic. Knowledgeable, thorough, great interpersonal skills, and a committed physician. I could recommend her more highly."
"Dr.Janicit is always available, responds quickly and has great insight and medical knowledge. I also have loved all the referrals she has recommended."
"An hour before my visit I was called and told DPC was "not seeing sick patients" and that my appointment was not being honored. After a back and forth with the doctor (Dr. Pearlstein) via the receptionist I was told I wasn't allowed to come in and go to an urgent care. This was not a Covid19 or respiratory issue, no fever. The lack of care, sympathy, and disregard for someone "sick" from a doctor / doctors practice is so so shameful. What's the value of a primary care practice that has a culture of refusing their patients care?"
"Solid Primary care doctors. Short wait times, attentive staff, clean office. All women practice makes it a particularly comfortable environment for women patients."
