"I absolutely love Milne Antiques. Not only do they carry gorgeous items but the owner has an incredible eye for design and space. She and her team came to my home and assisted me with a redecorating project. They brought in ideas I never would have considered but still made sure the space reflects me and my taste. It was great to have a whole team that could help with everything from refinishing wood to hanging lights to expanding cabinets and more. I love the results and receive so many compliments. I highly recommend the store and the additional services the team provides."
"Curated vintage furniture but even more interesting is the space itself. A little bit pricey in my opinion. Super kind staff."
"Cool shop to visit in the area. Definitely enjoyed looking around. Prices are a little high but I assume that is due to the vibe of the surrounding communities. All depends on what you're looking for!"
"Rebecca, the owner, is just an absolute gem! So knowledgeable and helpful, whether you’re looking for something specific or just browsing. And they do custom alterations there too, so you can have certain antiques altered to fit your space. She has a really wonderful and unique collection that’s can be appreciated by collectors of all kinds."
"My husband and I bought two lamps from this store. One we took home and the other, a classic arco floor lamp with the marble base, they needed to go over, to make sure it was all secure, and then would deliver. The lamp arrived on a Monday and looked great. But on Tuesday evening the arc, with the large shade attached, fell out of the marble onto our couch, striking a toddler. Luckily, no one was hurt. When we looked to see what had happened we saw that the screw they'd used to reattach the arc to the base was way too small for the weight (see attached picture). I called up the store the next day and was told they didn't do refunds but would send someone out to fix it. I explained that I didn't trust their workmanship anymore and wanted them to take it away and give me a full refund. The woman on the phone kept implying that we had done something to the lamp--she just couldn't understand what happened. My husband, a lightening designer, got on the phone and explained about the small screw and she just didn't get it. They sent out a guy who refused to take it away but said he would go into town and buy another screw to try to fix it. We insisted he take it away and were told that they might not refund our money. Eventually, after many phone calls, they said they would mail us a partial refund. We were told that the owner was on vacation and couldn't be reached except by the assistant. I said to have her call me and several weeks later still have heard nothing. We called them several times since then but have not reached anyone. We finally complained to our credit card company and hope to get all our money back--we don't see why we should pay them anything for having a dangerous lamp in our home for a day. At one point, the woman even said to me that if she'd known I had a toddler in my home, she would have suggested I not buy the lamp. To which I responded, if your products are likely to break onto toddler's heads you should not sell them. And also, I don't think only kids shouldn't be hit in the head with lamps. I think adults and even pets should be safe. So, if you have any living creatures in your home either avoid this store or be sure to give the sales woman a very through inventory of your present house hold, expected guests, future family planning, etc, etc before buying anything."
