"Donna Siegel, PA-C is wonderful. She is a truly caring provider and has been very thorough with my health care. Regardless of time of day, weekend, holiday, etc., she has responded immediately to my direct messages inquiring about refills, medication questions/concerns. I have never waited more than 30 min. and my pharmacy has already processed her medication refill request. She is attentive to my medical care and responds to my concerns without judgment and provides a holistic patient-centered experience. I am grateful to have found a medical provider who treats me with the utmost care and respect, so much so that I feel like family. I can honestly say that she puts 'family' in Family Medicine."
"No stars. Asked to switch primary doctor and they simply dropped me from there practice. Very unprofessional"
"Since my original post gets deleted, let me just say after decades with this practice, specifically under one person's care who recently retired, my last experience-having to go there for medical clearance for emergency surgery-was jaw dropping, head shaking, horrible. "If you don't like it, you can go somewhere else" is the attitude and words actually spoken by staff and " I don't have time for that" spoken by one of the new doctors when I asked if someone could find out about paperwork from ortho office regarding my emergency[ get it-EMERGENCY!] surgery and what more I needed to do prior to since I was already out [quite painful to be in a car with a fracture proximal humerus]. No sooner did I get home [30 minutes from Kingston, close to an hour from Northern Dutchess] and I was told I needed to go to the hospital for their pre-surgical testing. Another drive in the car where every turn, every stop caused serious pain. [thanks so much]. One would think a primary care doctor would know the hospital had their own protocol and advise me of such. Never broke a bone in my life-I'm 61-or has anyone in my family. All new to me and I was in pain and a bit scared, Doctor didn't even ask if I was in pain, or even take a look at my shoulder or offer advice or compassion. Nurse was nice though. That front office...it's so bad there really are no words [well, there are but they delete them] for just how pathetic, nasty and incompetent it is. The medical clearance paperwork got to the hospital the day of surgery-Thursday as I was walking in to pre-op. I had been seen here first thing that Monday. You be the judge. I'm outttathere."
"I had an extremely difficult experience with their front desk. I called three separate times over a period of two weeks to try and register as a new patient. The first call I was told that they were accepting new patients and I would hear from then in 2-3 days on next steps. When I didn't hear back, I called back, and the person who answered the phone didn't know what the new patient process was but said someone would call me in 2-3 days. I just called once more - 4 days later - and now it was going to take 2-3 weeks to register me as a patient, but the weren't sure and the person who did know wasn't in today. When I expressed my frustration and frankly fear - about not being able to find a doctor to help me in a timely way - "they are not taking new patients." The power these individuals hold over our access to healthcare is really scary. They are gate-keepers with no compassion. Particularly given I pay $800 a month on health insurance that I can't even use. We are completely broken."
"They are very thorough and attended to every medical concern that I had!"
