"Horrible! I had 4 cushions that needed to be reupholstered. I first visited in September 2021 (yes! 2021). They kept coming up with excuses as to why they weren't done (covid, heart attack were of few). Then, one of the cushion covers didnt even fit the cushion - it was cut wrong. I was stupid enough to pay in advance (which they said was required to purchase the material). Well, by December 2022 I called and they said someone was in the hospital, that I would have to come look for it because they had no idea what I was talking about. When I got there, the cushion wasn't done. They said they ran out of material (likely because they mismeasued) and they couldn't get more. I was given no real apology, and no offer for a refund. I would NEVER recommend them. It's not worth the aggravation to sue. STAY FAR AWAY!"
"I brought my fabric and small item to this company to be reupholstered and was told by Lisa (mgr) that i could expect it to be finished in 5 weeks (needed it before Thanksgiving) and that they would call me when it was done. 6 weeks passed and no call. I called and Lisa, who answered my call, very rudely told me my item wasn’t even started yet and she didn’t even know when it would get started!!! Since I paid for the work in advance, I requested a refund and would pick up my item. It took over a month to receive my refund due to how they process them. Needless to say, I found a wonderful upholstery person who finished my item in less than a week and he did a beautiful job!!"
"AV did an excellent job breathing new life into these Chippendale chairs. The pricing was very fair and the turnaround was efficient. The workmanship was first class with lots of attention to detail. Highly recommended. Will certainly be a repeat customer."
