"My parents grew up coming here for lunch when they were in high school down the street in the 90’s. Growing up they brought me here all the time & whenever we’ve moved out and back to nyc, it’s a ‘last stop’ while simultaneously being a ‘first stop’. Best chicken parmigiana in all of Brooklyn & those potato wedges? Unlike anything from anywhere else. I recently popped back into the city for work and made sure I paid them a visit & every time I visit the store feels emptier but the kitchen in the back is always filled with energy and all the deliciousness. Seriously, you’ll not be disappointed with this deli for its hot food. Just remember to have plenty of cash!!"

"I drive all the way from the other side of Brooklyn for this chicken parm hero. My grandma was in the neighborhood forever and the nostalgia of a Carlo’s Hero and an ice cold Coke is so powerful. I’m so glad the family keeps the deli open its an icon."

"This super friendly staffed hole in the wall just made me one of the best (and biggest) sandwiches I’ve ever had. Can I give them 10 stars? It was bigger than my arm and I think it weighed 5lbs! And they have individual cups for sale with ice (as all nyc delis should) but it’s giant cubed ice. The ice cubes lasted 4 hours!"

"By far the best deli in South Brooklyn and quite possibly all of BK. I’ve been coming here for years but usually devour my sandwich before I have time to snap a pic and leave a review. All the food is quality. My go-to are the roast beef with mutz and gravy and the chicken blt with melted American added. Make sure to place your order in advance because they do get busy during lunch hours."
