"Do not get gift cards here! Other than that, it's a great store for the essentials. I find alot of their store brand items are equivalent and sometimes better than their name brand counterparts. My only issue I ever had was buying Uber eats gift cards I bought as gifts and after the person couldn't use them and going back to the store they couldn't help us. Said the card was activated but it had no money on it so that kinda ruined the gift. They won't refund the money either so just know if you buy a gift card from Lidl you may just be throwing away your money. They really need to improve their gift card situation. They have no customer service desk either so they want you to do everything online. So either customers are stealing the info off the cards, the employees are or it's the Uber eats company but I'm not taking any chances next time. Go to CVS."

"I truly hate this store and can’t wait for it to close the dairy never last Longer than three days in your refrigerator. The bakery is a poor quality. the bread is too thick. The donuts have almost no fillings in them and the cakes are tasteless. Is this a five and dime store or is it a supermarket? The isles are repetitive the same item. You can find in several isles, they also do not have a lodge array of items bring back walbaums and Pathmark please"

"The best Lidl store is located in Oakdale off of Sunrise Hwy. it is the only store that all staff is friendly and kind. The store is immaculately clean & everything is organized. I have gone to islip & Patchogue stores, don’t care for them. Drive to Oakdale. I am elderly and they always ask me if I need help putting the bags in my car, it is no bother. How sweet is that. The sales are great. Best deals in town. Jelly donuts & apple turnovers are delicious & my favorites. If their brand of product expires & you take it back they give you a new one. That’s great."

"It's a bit weird as it's half euro half American type of place. The German bratwurst are awesome. Prices are very good for most things just shop around. For example hot dog buns for the stop and shop house brand are $2 but at lidl the same buns are $1. It's also part dollar store, they sell a lot of cheep stuff down some isles toys and stuff. Anyway prices are great and after being there A few times I like it."

"The store has a larger selection than the other stores in the area. Sale items sell out quickly so shop early. The staff was nice, for the most part. Hopefully, the chain will keep it up with the quality that Best Market was known for."
