CVS 298 Mulberry Street, Manhattan, New York 10012

"Bizarre.Weird. I bought a Lenny protein cookie here. The line for self checkout is odd... Some work, some don't, some take credit, some don't...Asked a man standing near the line if he was in line..he says,' I run this place'...ok, I guess that's a no...The machine of course didn't work so I went to the human cashier and paid. The manager asked the cashier if my card went through ...as if I was some gangster $3 thief? If he wasn't so busy texting on his phone (seriously ) and hunched over maybe he would have known..."

"Waste of time. Same thing happened on this location too. It says opens 24 hours. Lights on employees are inside laughing at me and the guy is looking at me from inside and he said it’s closed for no reason. Wow what a waste of time traveling up to here."

"The main manager here, who is a middle-aged Caucasian man, made me extremely uncomfortable during a conversation that started off normal but he got too close for comfort & started making odd advances. Additionally, his breath suggested he was drunk, and he ended up yelling in the store as I left. Unfortunately, a similar incident occurred with another friend 2-3 days later. I would recommend avoiding this CVS."

"Says it’s open 24 hours on google maps but it’s definitely NOT. Showed up at 2 AM to pick up some off the shelf cough medicine and was closed. Change your hours. As a location it’s ok. busy and annoying as to be expected."

"This is a very convenient store in a busy intersection that is always well stocked, always clean, and run by staff who are super friendly. I walked through each and every aisle and quickly noticed that there were helpful signs posted and the shelves were full with a wide variety of everyday items. I only wish they would designate at least one of their four automatic checkout counters to accept cash like their other store in Union Square, and also the store on Park Avenue/22nd street do. This is because it’s usually very busy at this location and not everyone pays with a credit card and many a time I have noticed at least two, and sometimes all of the automatic checkout counters vacant but five customers waiting in line to pay cash, because the vacant checkout counters only accept credit/debit cards. And then many a time there is only one cashier handling customers who pay cash. If any of those customers in line paying cash are doing a return or has other transaction-related issues, the rest of the cash paying customers will have to wait on line for a significant amount of time. I wish they would fix this issue but I don’t think they will as I did bring it up and was told that they will not. I’ve also noticed that far too many of their items are priced significantly higher than the competition. They are also not very good at being on top of restocking the protein shakes in the refrigerators although some of the popular shakes sell out quickly, leaving an empty slot in the fridge for days on end. The issues mentioned here apply only to this particular location."
