"I am very sad and disappointed in the principal of the school (new in 2020) and some of the teachers. Even though it has been over three years, I am still very angry. The reasons are as follows. 1. My son was a new student in 2020 (my son was over 2 years old at the time) and because of his age, he was very scared. About 10 days into my son's enrollment, I received daily complaints from the principal and teachers that my child was not well brought up and that I could not always arrange for a teacher to calm my child. At that time, I thought it was hard to get a position in the school, so I humbly said I was sorry. But now I feel that it is the school's responsibility to prepare for new students, but the school feels that it is losing money by hiring itinerant teachers. This is why the principal has been complaining to me. 2, In only 10 days of enrollment, I have received almost daily complaints from teachers AND PRINCIPALS and have been asked to pick up my child early (12pm), but I pay for a full day of tuition (8:30am-6:00pm). The reason they asked me to pick up my child early was because they did not want to let my son cried. however, they DID NOT want to provide enough comfort and support for my child to adjust to the new environment. They want you pick up the kids early and then they do not need to anything to the kids 3. My child got sick 10 days after joining the school, so I had no choice but to stop going to the school and asked for a refund because my child was not getting enough support from your daily complaints. However, they refused to refund the money on the grounds that my child could continue to go to school (at the time the tuition was 1800/month and I only went for 10 days and suffered 10 days of their complaining). 4. If your child needs special services, be extra careful because the school principal and teachers allow the SPECIAL TEACHER to come in late and leave early, they are like friends. Parents have no idea that their child's bedtime may be taken away, and the special teacher is especially fond of using the child's bedtime to intervene. The special education teacher and the school teacher may chat during the time when the child normally receives intervention. I think the evidence can be obtained through the school's security cameras, and if you are the parent of a special needs child, you can find out about the nasty behavior at the school by simply raiding the school. 4, After my child recovered from his illness, I changed daycare and my son was fully acclimatized to the school in just one week, and I was very impressed that the teachers at the new school provided my son with almost enough reassurance and support. 5. Although it has been more than three years, I still want to write about the school's bad behavior and hope that parents will defend their interests. The school is more interested in its own interests than in education, and there are many teachers who think they are good teachers, but they are indifferent and lack basic love, patience and guidance."
"If I can give them a zero I would, this place is complete garbage. Nobody there knows how to do their job."
""This daycare is amazing place! Very clean with great staff and very welcoming. The staff are always friendly and amazing. I highly recommend sending your children to their child care canter.""
"I cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff and the directors are at this facility. My son absolutely adores everything about this place. He is literally running out of my arms to enjoy the activities and to see his teacher. They have built a real connection. You see that the care and love is apparent and it's wonderful to watch. Going to work, knowing he is in such good hands being cared for people that take pride in their work alleviates any anxiety and worry I had sending him to daycare. They even check in to make sure he is ok when he is out, like they truly miss him. I would recommend this facility to anyone who asks. They are clean, sanitary and have fun filled curriculum and activities based on a new theme every month. The enrichment my son is receiving in the 1-2 year old class is remarkable. I could go on and on. Specifically, thank you to Ms. Claudia, Ms. Joanna, Ms. Una and Ms. Linda for your hard work and dedication. You are incredible."
"I am sure that all parents would like to send their children to a day care or preschool where they can learn more, play hard, be loved by teachers and friends, and eat fresh in-house made food every day! This is how Metrokids Fresh Meadows cares for its students. I personally like this school a lot as it's super organized. I like that this school always provides a lot of fun activities for students (e.g. a theme for each month) as well as offers enrichment classes (art, reading, piano and ballet). My older son spent three years (nursery to preK) and my younger one spent a year (nursery) there. We really wanted to leave my younger one there until preK. However, we moved to Long Island after our older son graduated from pre-K. Honestly, I took a quite long time to look for a good daycare in our new house area. Unfortunately, nowhere is comparable to Metrokids. My kids still talk about Metrokids at home and miss their sweet teachers (Ms. Taneva, Katherine, Brown and Sosan) and amazing school staff (Ms. Una). If you are looking for a school for your little ones, you should check out this school and see if it is suitable to you. Good Luck!"
