"The pork pot stickers with garlic sauce is always the best combination and it tastes good. The soy milk also tastes like Taiwanese flavor. The food came in hot. Personally didn’t like the flavor and texture of pork wontons, the store manager listened to my comments and reflected to the chief. I believe they really respect customers and willing to listen to any advices! Would definitely recommend the pot stickers and come back again!"
"I had high hopes but the waiting time for food was too long. I waited 30 minutes for 6 curry chicken pot stickers and 5 of them were cold/room temperature. Also, they didn't ask me to start with the hot and sour soup until I asked after 25 minutes I ordered. As a taiwanese, the taste was authentic but the service really needs improvement. Would give it a second chance if I happen to be in the area."
"Decent food but subpar value The restaurant has the right idea of a fast casual but needs to do better on execution and value proposition. We ordered two set meals but appetizers had small portions while the dumplings were inconsistent in texture and slightly underseasoned. That said, the only highlights were the soy milks, but it’s not like you can’t get them anywhere in Chinatown, don’t be lazy like me otherwise you would pay $40 for small portions."
"I came here after seeing a video of it online and I had high expectations since it’s a popular Taiwanese chain. That said, I was pretty underwhelmed by the amount and quality of the food. The portions were really small (see images) and I had to go home to eat a second dinner because I was hungry. There are way better Taiwanese restaurants in NYC (Wuchang) that offer better value and flavor! It’s cool that it’s a fully self help restaurant tho. Note that they are still in their trial period and close at 7pm."
"The pork potsticker is decent but everything else we ordered fell short of the glory of Taiwanese street food… The hot sauce wonton is not bad but needs to be more spicy. The steam dumpling is entirely passable. The wonton soup is not bad but if you order with combo the portion is laughable for the price. And don’t bother with the soy milk black tea — it tastes ok but you’ll finish it in one shot. The curry chicken potsticker is also just average. I do appreciate the friendly employees and clean dining area and bathroom. Just wish for $50 me and my friend don’t have to go to another restaurant to be full."
