"Puts the highly complicated history of European conquest of the America's into perspective. Reenactments of 18th century events are entertaining and informative. About 20 minutes by car, the best way to get there is a car. Infrequent bus rides will take you back and forth from Niagara falls too."
"One of our favorite stops around Niagra Falls! Don't miss it. Highly recommend a tour! It's very cool here because it's right on the lake and windy. Beautiful views of the 'Castle' as they call it. Built in 1726 by the French. It is just stunning. They do a lot more things on the weekends like fire the muskets, tours, and local reenactors."
"Visited Fort Niagara, State Park, over the Labor day weekend. For a state park I was quite surprised and disappointed over two things that irked me. 1.) The entrance fee, $60.00 for three people. And 2.) In order to have my dog with me, I was told by the lady at the desk “we will allow you to bring in your dog if you sign this waiver”. Unpleasantries aside, the fort buildings and grounds were pretty well kept. The people at the buildings were helpful with questions. Historically important and worth seeing. There is a shop."
"This place is fantastic. The staff is very knowledgeable and if they don't know they will look it up for you. The demonstrations were informative and incredibly entertaining. More than worth the price of admission. There is a lot of history here and a lot to see! I wish we had days not hours to spend here."
"We visited the pool and loved it. The water was cold though! Wish there was a hot tub. Lots of lounge chairs and stair entry. They allow you to bring im food and drinks. Entry is $3-5 pp (I forget). There is a large picnic area and if you walk down to the water you can swim. Id recommend water shoes though because the beach was rocky."
