"Dr Steiner is extremely condescending and unprofessional. We have come to this vet hospital for years and with all of our animals- we’ve just recently seen Dr Steiner. She is the first and only vet to recommend we switch to the cheap Kibbles and Bits, and after finally questioning her judgement because this has been happening for over a year, she then referred to me as someone “watching commercials with a Karen holding a bag of dog food and false advertisement that misleads people. And that reading the front of a dog food bag that says ‘grain free’ is actually a gimmick.” My husband and I have done research on the food we feed our dogs, have never taken the word for a commercial (I can’t even recall the last dog food commercial I’ve seen, as we don’t typically watch regular TV) and we don’t feed them a grain free option, anyway! I explained that I read ingredient labels, not just the front of a bag, then asked if bi-products were considered okay for dogs, and she then questioned me on if I knew the definition of a bi-product- I asked you, as the professional? Received a poor explanation- as all she did was ask me what my dog would eat if she found a dead rabbit in the woods. She wouldn’t… How did that answer my question? Very unpleasant and unlike any veterinarian we’ve ever seen at this facility. After 10+ years, we will be switching to a more credible vet office and will not be returning."
"Don't trust older reviews, they've been bought out. This place is the definition of a veterinary practice to be avoided. Your beloved pet is simply a dollar sign to this corporate-owned facility. I've lived in a few states and been to several vets with my aging dog, this is hands down the worst experience I've ever had. My now 14 year old dog has been going here for over almost 2 years. She's on prescription allergy meds and food. Today, when I emailed for a copy of her prescription so I could pick up a bag of food out of town, they told me they have no record of her prescriptions. None. Funny, they know she's on the rx food and they've been approving her chewy orders but now that I need it, it's gone. At first they refused to even email me a copy but then decided they can do that but it'll take 72 hours to rewrite the prescription we already had. I hope my frustration is adequately coming through. I asked them to please ask for it to be done faster as it's their mistake and she responded with, "I don't tell the vet what to do." Ohhh man, thanks for nothing. Don't get me started on how long it took them to actually look at her records and incorporate them into their system. Appointments are booked months out, even if you're desperate. Take your pets anywhere else you can get an appointment, this place is a joke. It's run worse than corporate-owned prisons."
"Such kind and caring people you all are, everyone, from the receptionist to Dr. Rockcastle. Bringing our precious little kitty to us for her final moments with the care of an infant. I was amazed with their genuine empathy for us as well. Thank you so much for this last memory, it is unforgettable."
"Such a caring staff. I recently had to put my 15 and a half year old pug to rest. They made it as peaceful and comforting as possible. When I get a new pet, I hope to have them as a vet."
