"this by far is one of the worst medical centers I ever seen ,,,my daughter is a first time mother and young and they never educated her on anything they didn’t keep up on her health they diagnosed her with something she actually never had during her pregnancy her last appointment they told her they don’t check for baby they just monitor her heart beat but to my 3 kids and nursing position I thought they see if you dilated and if baby head is down etc ,,nope ,,and when it was time for my daughter to have her baby she went up there to sign paper work for them to transfer her medical records out and to give birth at highland and her paper work was left on desk never sent out and then told she was gonna have her baby there n it was scheduled for 6pm ,,like how are they able to decide who has their baby where ? And how negligent can you be with important paper work , they told her that don’t transfer at all which is a lie all hospital have the ability to transfer clients paper work..,I don’t recommend this practice to anyone who doesn’t have a clear understanding on how pregnancy should be handled my daughter had 3 midwives who she never really met never introduced them selves cause she never knew who was gonna be at her next appointment had 5 different doctors every appointment and never once was giving info on what to expect or look for during pregnancy she didn’t even have a regular delivery doctor it was who ever was gonna be there…. I will be contacting the ceo of this company cause it’s the 4th time they messed something up …if I could give 0 stars I would"
"I cannot stress enough the support I had from Megan Fisher (midwife-Women’s Care) for delivering my daughter last week. From a placenta that didn’t want to detach, a baby that was almost a dystocia, and handling a patient that wanted no meds and who was induced, was incredible. She was very encouraging and patient with me. She made judgement calls and kept me very well informed on my choices, as well as making sure full consent was granted for anything and everything that was happening. At no point in this experience did I feel unsupported or unheard. Induction started at 8:15pm, very gently, and then my body took over and did the rest. (I didn’t need more induction meds after one dose- thankfully Megan suggested we see where it go before giving another). Kollin was born at 7:18am and pushing was only 10 minutes tops. I can attibute this to not being forced to push too soon, being able to labor in any position I wanted, being given tools like the peanut ball, birth ball, a comb to redirect pain etc. I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful birth. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Megan!"
"I had my first child with them and the midwives made a huge difference for me and my goals with delivery. They were super attentive and great to work with in and out of the hospital. Reading through other reviews, I only had to wait for a provider long once during that pregnancy d/t the provider attending to a concern relating to the hospital next door. Other visits have not had a long wait time at all. I have also never had an issue getting through to them on the phones. The scheduling for upcoming appointments can be difficult, especially when trying to schedule something that is less than a month out. Overall, I have felt supported, listened to, and well cared for at this medical facility. Every provider is a little different and you can find a good fit between someone on their staff. However, I do not recommend Dr Yager."
"This practice doesn't care about patients once they have a miscarriage. They don't bother to call, or follow up or listen to you if you call with any concerns. If you have recurring miscarriages they won't give you any help or look into any causes for you. Their office practices are horrible at best. They're not a bad practice when you have a healthy pregnancy. For that they can have 1 star."
"My first baby was just born in December 2020. I am so happy I chose to have a midwife deliver my baby. She was so wonderful. From answering every question I had, to the wonderful encouragement while delivering. I highly recommended having a midwife to deliver your baby. I thank all the midwifes and doctors from Batavia hospital that I worked with from the bottom of my heart for making my delivery exactly what I wanted it to be and supporting me from start to finish!"
