"Having been in the hobby for 5 years now I've spent thousands of dollars on fish, equipment ect. I decided to try NY Aquatic because they have a very strong social media presence online and appeared in my feed on Instagram. I purchased two clownfish from them and they arrived packaged very well and were healthy out of the box. For two weeks I quarantined them in copper and they looked healthy enough to introduce to my display tank. Another two weeks go by and I find my blue hippo tang dead, two days later my carpenter wrasse and sixline wrasse are both dead. Both of my percula clowns were covered in a hazy slime so something was wrong. I removed the clowns and put them back into quarantine but they were dead the next day. After doing some reading online I came to conclusion that the fish had Brooklynella which affects clownfish. The disease is not treated by copper and the fish went weeks without symptoms. I lost every single one of my fish from this disease and will not be purchasing from this store again."

"I can’t even describe how amazing my experience has been with them. There great prices are just the start to it. Their customer support is by far their best asset. I annoyed Michael through email for probably 3 days straight asking questions and for pictures. Never once did I get a bad response. Always sent more pictures and even pictures of other fish I would like. He never missed a single call to him even when he was on the way to the doctor. "I bought two barbonious anthias that arrived at my house on 9/28. One died upon arrival while the other one is thriving 2+ months later. Thank you Michael. Michael did a great job on shipping & packaging them so the other anthias likely died from stress coming from NY to FL. Refund was quick & prompt for the dead anthias. Shipping is non-refundable, but wasn't concerned about it because doing the math on just 1 fish + shipping was a great deal. Michael also runs a lot of great promotions so if I need more barbonious anthias again I'll be buying from him. He doesn't quarantine, but both fish I got from him that I have today + DOA looked healthy. Thanks for all you do Michael, will definitely consider him again for future fish, and love to catch up someday as a Finance Manager on his pricing strategy, profit margins, and approach on doing business. "I purchased my first order from NY Aquatics (NYA) and received my shipment on 26 October 2023 and they were very helpful with coordinating when I needed the package to arrive. I would recommend them, and already have my eye on my next purchase. They always have great sales on their livestock and when it’s that good it’s tough to request off work to be available to receive shipment. But they held it so that i could coordinate to be off. The day the fish arrived couldn’t have been better day. However, the water in packaging was still good temperature and felt warm. Initially one of the fish showed severe signs of stress, and during and after acclimation, and even a few days after the fish showed signs that it wouldn’t make it. This whole time i was in communication with NYA and provided them with videos and some pictures-and they responded quickly with suggestions. Fortunately, things turned out for the best and now i have two very healthy and active Blotched Anthias who now eat a variety of Brine, Mysis, Bloodworms and pellets. I have previous experience with Anthias so i knew what i was getting into. Thank you all for your amazing customer service!"
