"Love this place... The kids enjoyed a nice quiet sprinkler and run around the small park. Just a word of caution. We were forced to leave because of a creepy guy who was way too focused on the kids and sat himself in front of the sprinklers while there were plenty of other benches and space. He has no kids and just made everyone feel uneasy. If you have kids please just be careful. He did not try and engage in conversation but he had his phone out and we had the feeling his interest in the spot and the kids was not healthy. Most people would perhaps pick up on cues or concerns from parents but he did not. It was unsettling."
"Nothing for toddlers. They only put one baby swing. It is worse than before."
"Great playground to take the kids. The playground has been taken out, they are currently renovating the play area; the kids can't wait."
"The park is extremely outdated and not well maintained. Playground is all metal and looks old. Baseball field is in terrible condition so is grass area outside. Although there are lots of benches, they are either not painted with a risk of getting splinter or painted over old cheeped paint. Basketball court is a joke. Hoops are old, no lines and field is all cracked with grass growing out of cracks. Same with handball wall. In some places around the park the grass is ruined by car skids. During the school pickup cars parked on the grass, because there are two schools nearby, ruining the grass. Looks like this park has been forgotten by Department of Parks and Rec."
"Run down park. Not upkept at all. Google maps will have you turn down a street that no longer exists. In the event of rain, this park needs an entire week to dry up. Better playgrounds are available on Staten island. Lots of kids come so it's good for a 2+ year old. Also a lot of Russian children so good for Russian kids."
