Columbus Park

"Columbus Park is a fun park with ample play structures and a treed field for walks in! The play structures are only a few years old maybe 5? There are currently 3 standard swings and 2 baby/toddler swings and a small teeter totter. On one side there is a climbing bar apparatus with fireman's pole and a large climbing unit with large slide and climbing wall for 5 to 12 year olds. There is a smaller climbing structure with smaller slide for the 2 to 5 set. Bordering the old Holy Name Of Jesus church on Bonesteel in Greece, I feel like it is not a terribly busy park. There is also currently a portapotty and garbage can on site. And this is a leaf drop off site in fall. And there at least 4 benches on and pff the playground to sit on. The playground is open until 10, and a giant light illuminates the whole playground! I do intend to put a call in to the Town of Greece concerning the swing set for the missing swing and to make sure it is set securely - I see the whole unit moving some when bigger people swing."

"This park for the most part is clean and every parent that I have met there have been very friendly and kind. Sometimes older kids are there but they get the hint as soon as I walk up with my 2 ur or I'll just ask them to leave if they are being obnoxious or anything but that's only happened once awhile back and they did just walk away. It's not a huge play area but it works and it's great for kids to run and play?"
