"I’ve seen Dr.A for a longtime now and think he’s one of the best doctors for woman’s care in the Capital Region! He thorough, compassionate, knowledgeable and professional! I highly recommend him!"
"I would give him no stars if I could. This man is a con artist preying on women. I saw him for 3 years, it was so stupid to stay that long when I realized earlier on he was a BAD person. Please ladies for your own mental health and safety stay away."
"Had a student without my permission. I thought it was a new employee. When the doctor came in, he spoke about my health like I was not in the room. Told the student how I would struggle getting pregnant but had NEVER had a conversation with ME about this! I will never go back and I would not recommend him to anyone."
"Front desk was an unorganized disaster zone with a snippy receptionist. I was having severe pains that I felt I might die from. But, since the doctor had already scheduled my surgery, he wanted me to wait until then to remove the source of the pain. His bedside manner needs great work. Just like someone else mentioned , he made sure to do the breast exam even though I told him I just had one at my regular doctor. He said they needed to do it to “establish care “ because I was a new patient. Even though I was referred to him for an emergent problem I was having , he was still pushy and rude. I’ve NEVER been through such extreme pain…and I’ve given birth to three babies. When I was crying to him, begging for help to push up the surgery he had scheduled for two months later , he told me “I don’t go by your level of pain, I go by what it shows on the scans “. He wanted me to go home and take a medication that takes a month or so to see relief, if any at all. After telling him I can’t wait because the pain was THAT bad, he was dismissive when I decided to go to the ER at the hospital. Thankfully, they took me seriously , did some scans and rushed me into surgery. I don’t think i would have survived if I didn’t go to the hospital. Or, I would have been addicted to pain medication. It took me three months to write this review , because I don’t normally want to publicly complain, but after some great thought, I felt like I should try to save someone else from going through the same experience."
"I was having such severe pelvic pain which I had called to see the earliest they could get me in being a new patient. Got me in the next day. Now the day prior (when the pain was unbearable) I went to Ellis Medical center and they did me JUSTICE by doing what needed to be done to see what was causing the pain. I walk into this “gyno” office and not only was the receptionist so beyond rude to my mother who only wanted to make sure the proper questions were asked. But the “doctor” did a BREAST exam and then proceeded to not do any internal exam that was needed. Last time I checked when you’re going in for pelvic pain which was an ovarian cyst (thanks to Ellis Medical) my breast’s have nothing and I mean NOTHING to do with that issue. There was not ONE other patient in that building. So the fact that my mother couldn’t come into the room with me and was told to leave is an absolute joke! I walked out of there With less answers than I did walking in. And felt violated. Lose lose in my book. This place needs to be shut down like yesterday."
