"I called and asked if it’s okay to be 15 minutes late. Person over the phone said that is totally fine but when I came the doctor didn’t want to see me even though the office was empty. Could not believe the health worker could be that careless."

"As a gyn he was cool but when I came to him w my first baby he just didn’t care. It took two months for him to see me which at that point I was 12 weeks. When I arrived the nurses didn’t know what I was there for. After telling them I am there for my first sonogram the doctor finally came in. He took all of two mins and gave me a referral for gene testing. Didn’t explain much of anything of what to except only asked me if I was on medication. He walked out of the room with no explanation what the referral was for or how quickly I needed to get the test done. Now it’s two weeks later and all the doctors are telling me it’s too late for gene testing. I didn’t know. He didn’t explain to me not a single detail about what to expect as a first time mother. Just did the sonogram and walked out. When I checked “my chart” he wrote lots of things that weren’t true. If he would have asked me questions or allowed me to think of some questions instead of rushing out the door he would have known how I had been feeling. I wrote to him in my chart and he didn’t answer me, it’s been two weeks. I still haven’t got a response."

"Subpar medical service and faulty billing resulting in a lot of wasted time- strongly not recommended I went to Dr. Berka for a routine check-up. Waiting times were OK and the doctor was a pleasant enough person. During my visit, he asked a few routine questions, but was very squeamish about actually checking me physically. I brought up a few minor physical complaints and asked for possible causes, and instead of thinking about underlying causes, Dr. Berka wanted to only prescribe some medication to treat the symptoms (which are not so strong as to need medication). He also was very adamant about me giving him a pharmacy that he could put on file for medication (which again I did not do, as I don't need medication). Overall, I did not have a good feeling and got the impression that he wants to make money by prescribing (unnecessary) medication. A few weeks after my visit, I received a call from my insurance company. They told me that one of the routine lab orders were filed incorrectly and that I should call the doctor's office to rectify this. I was ob hold for >30mins, then got transferred to different departments (from the office to billing to administration back to the office). The medical assistant in the phone told me multiple times that the doctor could not change hos medical diagnosis - which I at no point asked, I just asked for the faulty billing to be corrected. I then received a call back telling me to call the billing department (which I already had and they told me that they could not help). At this point, I refused to waste more of my time. I'll call my insurance and will tell them that you doctor's office is unwilling to correct their faulty billing and will simply pay whatever they bill for a ROUTINE test Overall, I would not recommend going to this doctor at all. From my experience, I received subpar service and wasting a lot of time trying to fix someone else's mistake"
