"I have been a patient of Dr. Garan for more than 15 years and I love him sooooo much. He has also been my mothers GYN for just as long. Dr. Garan knows what he's doing, so there is no need to second guess him. He even tells you how to get a second opinion when you ask. He's 100% honest and that comes off a bit harsh, but for my type A personality, I need it. He's super reliable and I've never felt neglected in his care. I know some reviews are negative and that's ok, but in my experience with him. HE IS A TOP NOTCH PROFESSIONAL. I have experienced several gynecological challenges and he's been very good at answering my questions, sharing his professional and personal perspective, and referring me to other professionals alike. He delivered my son 16 years ago, a C-section done so perfectly, that other doctors commend his work 'till this day. Not to mention that my bikini line thanks him for it. He was in charge of my care, before, during and after my baby was born, and it went so smoothly that It didn't seem real. I'm talking about, scheduled my C-section, the date came and 24hours later I'm up walking with my boy in tow. I'm in my next phase of life, trying to conceive another child but facing complications. Dr. Garan is a wonderful doctor, and during this difficult time, he has been extremely resourceful and caring. I love him so much, and I hope that treatment will give me the opportunity to have him deliver my second/third child."

"Dr. Guard came highly recommended as a skilled surgeon, and despite encountering some concerning reviews that highlighted his perceived rudeness and unprofessional behavior, I chose to entrust him with my surgery. My decision was driven by a prioritization of safety, especially given the complexity of my procedure. To Dr. Guard's credit, the surgery was successful, and I have not experienced any issues post-operation. He appears to be an excellent surgeon in terms of technical skills. However, on the downside, I must acknowledge that Dr. Guard exhibits dismissive and rude behavior, often avoiding questions he deems unworthy of his response. Throughout my patient journey, I've encountered several instances of insensitive and borderline offensive comments from him. It's surprising to me that Dr. Guard chose a field like gynecology, as he doesn't seem genuinely concerned with the well-being of women beyond their medical procedures. His focus appears solely on moving on to the next patient and performing surgeries, neglecting other aspects of patient care. In light of my experiences, my recommendation is to consider alternatives if possible. However, if Dr. Guard is the only available option and you require a skilled surgeon, proceed cautiously. It's advisable not to make him your primary gynecologist if you don't feel comfortable doing so. During your interactions with him, be prepared to advocate for yourself, as he may not be receptive to concerns or questions. If you're not assertive, consider bringing someone with you who can effectively advocate on your behalf."

"Loveeeee this office b/c the doctor is great but some of the front desk staff, Meilka to be precise, needs to leave the medical field. I have an emergency, called to try to see Dr. Guran- Meilka advised that if I were not there in 15 mins- I would not be seen. I said I’m further than 15 mins away, but I am on the way directly to you. She pretty much advised that even if I got into a car accident, do whatever I must, to get there within that time. How freaking unethical can she be?? Cannot wait to share this info and report her to the doctor b/c her approach and mannerism to a patients health is unacceptable and disgusting to say the least. Prior to my writing this review, I called back to let her know it was not okay what she just told me. Instead of being apologetic- she had an even nastier attitude and kept saying- So are you coming or not.” Unbelievable- get retrained lady or find a new job that is better suited for you!! Dr. Guran is great and deserves a better team around him."
