"This place doesn't even deserve a star. They dropped me from their practice without any warning. I was told I received letter after letter stating that I was being dismissed and I never received anything. After I was told that I health issues that need medical attention. I highly, highly don't recommend this practice, they don't care about their patients and take them off birth control without any care for the patients health."

"Artemis is one of a kind. I have been a patient for years and always get incredible care and treatment. I left for a short period when I moved to the south towns and tried out a few other providers closer to my house, and none even COMPARED to the quality care I get at Artemis. They are worth the drive! Rachel is fabulous. She is knowledgeable, caring, down to earth, professional, and makes you as comfortable as possible. I can’t recommend her enough. "The staff at Artemis are professional and knowledgeable, expressing care and compassion. This office is about half an hour from my house. When friends have asked me why I drive so far for my doctor when there are so many nearby I tell them that I'm not looking for "most convenient" but, rather, "best available." I have been a patient here for about a decade and genuinely believe Artemis is the best gynecology practice in the Buffalo area. I am thankful for their combined skill and ability. I have a medical history which requires routine ultrasounds. Gaye, the ultrasound tech, is respectful and kind, making what might be an uncomfortable situation bearable. She gives simple instructions in the gently lit ultrasound office and makes quick work of the diagnostic imaging process. Maureen completes my annual exam and follows up on the ultrasound results; she is genuine, honest, and direct while remaining very personable. She is the main reason I found this practice and I am so glad I did! While I have had less contact with Dr. Madeski, her knowledge and thoughtfulness are evident in the extension that she makes during challenging situations. In 2014, when I had uterine fibroids, she met with me to complete an examination and explain the details of what needed to happen. She performed a surgery to successfully remove the fibroids. At my most recent visit, Maureen checked my ultrasound results with Dr. Madejski; it was determined that another, more significant, surgery needs to be completed. I have had a similar surgery in the past so I am familiar with the process. Maureen mentioned that they could refer me to several oncologists who are qualified to treat my situation and perform the surgery. I mentioned to Maureen that I might consider having the surgery done in the area I was traveling over the next few months. The following day, Dr. Madejski called me to make sure I was okay. We spoke for half an hour about surgery options, hormone replacement therapy, and my plans to take care of the current concern. I have always felt well taken care of by everyone at Artemis, including Glenda who checks patients in and Denita who checks patients out. If you are looking for a warm, comfortable environment, Artemis is exactly what you need."

"Absolutely horrible. I used to love this office and feel comfortable here. I moved away so I had to switch Dr's. When I moved back I immediately went with this office. I would never recommend this practice to anyone at this point. I showed up prior to 15 minutes early because I thought I may have had paperwork. Even though I never even received a confirmation call prior to my appointment. The lady at the front desk said she couldn't give me it there and that I would have to reschedule. I had a very hectic move back into town so this appointment was already a reschedule. I asked if I could just do the paperwork before the appointment or even after and she said there's no way. I explained I have my insurance and everything ready it would only take a minute. She said nobody had time for that. Mind you, I was still at this point at least 15 minutes before my appointment time. I have never felt so uncomfortable at a Dr's office. It was entirely embarrassing because it was an honest misunderstanding and it's already an office where you feel vulnerable. I couldn't ever recommend someone to deal with these people at this office. I'd give no stars, but you can't. Go to another practice, they don't know how to treat people here. As I'm writing this I'm still before my appointment time. I had plenty of time to answer a few questions."
