Harlem Tennis Center, located at 40 West 143rd Street in New York, is a health and school institution that serves student-athletes primarily residing in Central Harlem. Our goal is to provide comprehensive instruction and supportive programs to help our students reach their full potential.

In 2023, many of our students from different skill-level groups advanced to and/or won the finals in their tournaments in December, showcasing the progress and dedication of our athletes. Our impact goes beyond just tennis - we serve as a support system for our students, helping them develop important life skills and fostering connections that last a lifetime.

Since 1972, Harlem Tennis Center has served over 20,000 kids, offering tennis as a tool for positive behavior and fitness, as well as educational programs that promote academic excellence and emotional resiliency. Our doors are open nearly every day of the year, providing a safe and nurturing environment for youth to grow and thrive.
