"Unfortunately I experienced intense dry skin and horrible acne flare ups after several appointments with Sofie. Everything her team suggested made it worse. I kept spending money on hundreds of different products that were all wrong and each person would suggest something different. I found a better esthetician and stopped going round and round with this studio. Edit: I don’t know what the response to my review is supposed to mean (raw potato? More like a cleanser you sold me that didn’t work…) I guess it would be too much to admit something was wrong."

"I, unfortunately, did not have a great experience with this studio. I attended a facial in the beginning of May and was so excited about it. Everyone was nice and caring. However, after the facial my skin looked very infected and I had cystic acne at the spots I never had it before. I kept telling myself it would go away and it’s just post exfoliation/extraction reaction. A month after a facial it got SO BAD and to the level I never experienced in my life, I emailed the studio with before/after pictures inquiring about what could possibly have caused this. They never replied. Now I have crazy cystic acne, had to start going to dermatologists ( never was a need before) and use antibiotics. I am not saying I could certainly prove a correlation between the facial and my skin getting so bad, but I can certainly say my skin didn’t improve right after the facial and just got worse and worse. On top of that I see on Sofie’s personal page how she helps people with acne and I keep thinking that after her studio I had a reverse effect. So sad:("

"I had a facial here and was so impressed by SJ! So knowledgeable and really caring! Very obvious that the owner and staff are committed to their work. It’s definitely not a run of the mill facial with the first visit being a consult. I really appreciated the care they took. Definitely excited about going back!"

"Sofie is extremely friendly and warm, I always feel like I've known her forever. Her space is beautifully designed, comfortable, covid friendly, and so clean! I've had acne for as long as I can remember, and after one session with Sofie my skin felt incredible. She takes the time to explain why the products she has chosen will help your skin, and why your skin is how it is in the first place. I've been following her recommended regiment for a few months and have seen SUCH A HUGE DIFFERENCE in my skin. My pesky little bumps are nearly gone already and my previously huge breakouts are kept at bay, and vanishing. My skin is so unbelievably soft, bouncy, glowy and healthy. I seriously cannot thank Sofie enough and highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their skin!"
