"Completely disappointed at the service. I’ve been client here for 3 years. First year and a half was great because of the laser tech at the time. After he left, the professionalism went out the window. I received such bad service. I made complaint and still never got a response back from owner. I waited a long time for a response back that the contract ended October 27th. I made complaint in August. Let staff know and sent emails. Texted owners. They do not care about client unsatisfactory. They want to get paid and that’s that. FYI- they do not apply numbing cream on your area for laser. Instead, they “expect” you to come into the session with it already applied and they do not care if you commuted from New Jersey to NY. They will tell you they do not have time for that process but yet, they will sell the product to you at store with taxes added. Extremely overpriced. Doesn’t make any sense to me when your paying thousands on service but Hey, Welcome to Shira Laser!"

"Do not use CareCredit at the store. They will get paid upfront and give bad service. They will not contact you back when you make complaint. They also will disclose personal information amongst the staff and make it an uncomfortable atmosphere. If you smoke marijuana, be careful. They will tell you it’s against policy but it is not. It’s completely legal and none of the terms and conditions entail “no smoking” for any procedures done. Also, if you over shave and over laser the areas, it can stimulate hair growth. They will not admit that to you. A staff member name Velma told me they are over lasering clients which is why they come back for more sessions. SMH!! This is my second review on here because I had left an old positive review on this account from 2020 but feel the need to update you guys in 2024!!! Be careful!!!"

"Absolutely love Shira Laser and cannot say enough good things about it! I've been going here for laser hair removal for the last 5 months and have had incredible results. The laser techs are so kind and helpful -- during each session they check in about the progress and are willing to slow down/take breaks when it gets a little too painful for me. They were super up front about their pricing/payment schedule options and often have laser hair removal deals that I would look out for on their social media. "Wanted to share my experience. I finished a 1 year cycle here in May of 2023 (I got in 8 sessions in that year). I did my underarms and lower legs. Let me preface by stating I have A TON of hair and the hair on my legs had become very course from 25+ years of shaving. It was becoming impossible to shave without razor burn/itching and so I had to do laser after years of putting it off. For me, the pain of each session was pretty gnarly— maybe cause my hair is so course & thick. I also have pretty sensitive fair skin. The redness faded after a day but legs would look spotty 24hrs after each session. This slightly worried me the first time but after that I knew it was temporary. I am happy with results overall but after 8 sessions I do still need to continue at this time… mostly on my underarms there’s still quite a bit of now finer hair but it’s not noticeable really to anyone but me. I think the price was good for the studio & service but I wish I was told it may not be fully resolved after 8 sessions… and now I’m stuck shelling out more $$ in hopes perhaps a few more sessions will do the trick. Overall I’m happy with services but thought I’d disclose my personal experience to share for others with hair like me… you may not be hairless after 8 sessions/a year that’s just “most people”. Also I would love to do my bikini area but have never been a shaver of that area (always sugared) and can’t imagine doing that process for year+ nor tolerating the pain well. I’ll stick to sugaring for that area probably."

I’ve also had a couple sessions of laser hair removal and I’m loving my results so far☺️ they really make you feel comfortable and really care about your goals and results. Definitely recommend!"
