"They don’t do stitches! What kind of urgent care center doesn’t do stitches? I live in the neighborhood and went there to treat a deep cut on my hand. Once I got there, they told me that if I needed stitches they don’t do them. They took a look, and said I needed stitches and to go to an ER. I was stunned… because isn’t the whole point of an urgent care center supposed to be for things like this, so that you don’t spend a day in the ER??? It didn’t end there, I’d bandaged myself up with one hand and it was pretty messy. The person attending me just had me take off the bandage I’d made, made her diagnosis and was getting ready to have me put it back on and send me on my way. I had to ask her to clean up my hand and bandage me up. She hesitated, then Said that she had to go look around for bandages. I heard her go from office to office looking for supplies. She eventually came back with gauze and Band-Aids (the band-aids were to use as tape because they didn’t have any!!!). She Washed the wound with sterilized water but no peroxide or antibiotic ointment or anything of that sort. I quickly left and found a nearby CityMD in Soundview where, surprise surprise, they do stitches (and were pretty disturbed that Morris Park Urgent Care Center doesn’t). I got great service at CityMD, 4 stitches and they bandaged up nicely. If you’re in need of actual urgent car, don’t waste your time at Morris Park Urgent Care Center."
