"Honestly did not expect to feel good just after 3 sessions, my back pain has gone from a 10 to a 4. Alex and Eric are great at what they do and they make you feel at home, other rehab places can be totally useless and boring. I highly recommend them, also Julie at the front desk is always so helpful."
"Great physical therapy location . genuinely good work and always listen to your concerns and complaints and work with you to want to get better."
"Found this local rehabilitation location near me. It’s not what you’re going to expect if you’ve been to other rehabs before. There is a family setting that make you feel at home. They are helpful if you’re in need of No Fault, Worker’s Comp or just rehab. Julie asks simple but important questions regarding your case, what options are available and what you should do which were very helpful. She is knowledgeable about the workings of insurance so ask her if you have anything you’re not sure of and she will direct you in what you can do. Eric is always helpful in getting you on track with your rehab routine. Encouraging with suggestions on how to perform the exercises and tips to get them done right so you’re getting the most benefit for the time you’re spending rehabbing . Alex, is the new guy covering this location. He’s studied various methods, skilled with the manual massage therapy and with use of blades to work out your muscles. When I was unexpectedly injured and my back was affecting my ability to attend and perform my rehab exercises he was able to work on me to alleviate the pain in my back and get me back on track. There are other therapists as part of the Movement Concepts company so there is coverage if someone is on vacation or out sick and their good too. The atmosphere here is one where you’re like in the TV show ‘Cheers’, where everyone knows your name. You’re in a comfortable setting which promotes your attendance and encourages you to work harder to speed up your recovery. It’s not always too busy so the sound levels at good. They have a TV and/or Music playing which keeps your mind off any pain you’re working through and the time passes away quickly. Parking like most locations on Northern Boulevard can be difficult and is best in the morning to early afternoon hours as evenings after work are possible but you may have to search some at times. They have arm bikes, leg bikes and a few other machines. Additionally they have exercises bands and ropes along with Heat & Ice therapy and Electro Stimulation machines, other equipment like stacked steps, agility ladder, balancing board and various other equipment. Not every place is everyone’s piece of cake, but if you come you’ll know this is the place for you. Your rehab depends on you. I know that there is pain which is part of rehab. If you can go through the fire within reason Alex will guide you and help you attain a full recovery as quickly as possible."
"This physical therapy practice is, by far, the best practice I've encountered! I had a partial medial menisectomy on one of my knees back in June, 2018. After the surgery, I thought I wouldn't need therapy. I tried to workout and recover by myself. As a result, my recovery did not progress. Late last year, I decided to try out a couple sessions of physical therapy. But with the many different practices near my house, I didn't know which one to go to. I decided to visit a couple of practices near my house to see which office accepted my insurance, and to scope out the facilities. The first office I visited was this very practice; Movement Concepts. The moment I stepped foot in this office, I was greeted by a very friendly person at the front desk; her name was Julie. She helped my fill out some paperwork and scheduled my first appointment. Ever since then, my experience with this practice only got better. The staff in this practice are very friendly! They really care for the well-being and progress of the patients' recovery/rehabilitation. The first therapist I met was Matt. He helped me get started on a program to help me recover and progress for a couple of months. He was awesome! Early this year, Matt moved on from this office to pursue a new exciting career opportunity in another state. Since then, another amazing doctor filled Matt's place in this practice; his name is Alex. Alex is very friendly and cool. He makes this physical therapy experience very fun! He challenges his patient's with riddles in which he displays for all to see. These riddles are optional and not a requirement to do, but when your on the bicycle machine for a couple minutes, you can use some riddles to spice up the boring cardio experience ;) In addition to his fun personality, Alex really knows his stuff. He is able to pin point the exact spots that have been bothering without me telling him much detail! With his help, my knee have been feeling so much better. In addition to Alex, there is another staff in this office; his name is Eric. Eric is phenomenal guy! He's been here since Matt was here, and helped me since my first session. He has a lot of knowledge on many different exercises and aspires to go into this field of work! He will be a great physical therapist in the future! Overall, this practice is amazing. From the moment you walk-in, to the moment you walk-out, the staff welcomes you and takes the time to address any rehabilitation concerns you may have. You will not regret giving this practice a try if you are looking for a practice for your needs."
"Alex and Erick are both great. They work as a team and are phenomenal. They give you your time to do each new activity and always try their best to answer your questions and concerns. Alex hands are like magic, I feel I got broken and repaired in one moment. I cry and laugh. I definitely recommend this place. Also on fridays they play country music. I'm currently still going and I'm happy I have both of them helping to treat me and I have been making great progress. Thank you guys!!! Also Julie the receptionist is sweet and is a great seeing her every time you walk in. They all work as a team. A+"
