"Update; its 2023 and The facility is rundown and in shambles. The wait time is indicative of a Third World country. There's no rhyme or reason with the scheduling. If your appointments at 1 expect to be seen around 4. It's a shame in this day of seamless technology that a facilities such as this could still exist. I would suggest hiring an administrator to facilitate at least a semblance of professionalism. The doctors here should be ashamed at the conditions here. The reception area personnel are grossly incompetent. Don’t try calling either, you will be on hold at least an hour, then when you get someone to answer you will be put on hold again. No professionalism here."
"Dr Maniego is great, friendly, compassionate and takes the time to explain everything. My only issue with this clinic is the wait time. I waited for more than an hour from my scheduled appointment."
"Dr. Wilbert Maniego has been my PCP since 2010 and so far my experience with him is very good. My mother join me last 2012 and she's been very happy with the way he treats her and take care of her especially those times when she was in the hospital. I guessed all doctors offices has it own flaws here and there but in general , Hillside Internal Medicine and Geriatrics meet my expectations."
"I came here to see Dr. Jacob as a primary care doc. The doctor was great. But the staff is ridiculous. They do not answer the phone. I was on hold for about 5 minutes and I heard someone pick up the phone and then hang up a few seconds later. I guess because of covid, they lock their doors and you must either text their number and let them know you are here or there might be a sign in sheet by 1 of the 3 entrance doors for the building. I made a follow up appointment for 10am to get blood work done along with some shots. I showed up at 9:45am, texted and filled out the sign in sheet, only to be called back at almost 1pm. Ridiculous. I couldn’t make it because, I like other humans, have things to do during the day. So I rescheduled, and the nurse or whoever called me said let’s do 10am on Dec 21st. So here I am today writing this review because it’s almost 10:30am and I haven’t heard or seen anyone from this office yet. I even showed up at 9:30 to start the “sign in” process early. This place is pathetic, and I don’t recommend ANYONE to visit here. Especially if the patient is elder with serious conditions. The waiting process is too long, the uncertainty of knowing if you’ll be seen within 2 hours is nonsense, and the lack of communication is a joke. If I could give this place negative stars I would. It’s a shame that a good doctor has to work in an office like this. I will be looking for a new doctors office."
"The front desk staff are nothing but lazy and rude. I once walked in for my appointment noticing my grandfather was almost turned away for not having his insurance card (it was not his first visit), and I told the receptionist that I know for a fact that if they run the ID # they have it'll come up active. They gave me a dirty look and took my grandfather. Also, I just called to have them make an electronic referral and they told me that I need to call the Doctor [that's requesting the referral and get their information], last I checked that was the front desk's job. I know all of this because I was a receptionist for 5+ years and never have I ever treated patients poorly or have patients do my job."
