"Kieara is a God sent. She helped my grandchild with his ear infection. I told her how much I appreciated her and the doctor that was working today. They’re good people."
"The location is convenient. Kiara was excellent at the front desk and the back. She has a nice & witty demeanor and was really kind, even though I wasn't feeling well. She made me feel at ease and kept me smiling the entire time. When the doctor arrived, she was also excellent. I heartily urge people to come to this urgent care. It’s quiet & quick you’ll be satisfied. I will swing by again and bring donuts. Everyone there puts forth a lot of effort to maintain guests positive attitudes."
"Rene was incredibly kind and patient, making me feel comfortable. The place was super neat and tidy, and the provider was clear and helpful as well. Would recommend 10/10 times."
"There's a reason this business is usually empty. First impression is the last for me and the lady at the front desk said a whole lot without saying much. Asking confidential questions and expecting them to be answered in front of anyone outside of your immediate family, is a definite no for me. The world does not need to know the reason for my visit. The world does not need to know what are my health conditions, if any. And since this is protocol, according to the receptionist, I decided to take my business elsewhere. *Another thing, I do not need your help unless I ask for it. Know when to step away. She was very creepy. How are you standing behind me, breathing down my neck, and watching me put my information on the kiosk without asking if I need your help? That's creepy! When I asked her the reason for standing behind me, she responds "its protocol. I have to stand here in the event you need help." I responded to her, "I'm sorry, but I don't need help. thank you." Yet, she continue to stand behind me. The audacity of her to assume I needed her help even though I told her I didn't and have the nerve to say her supervisor says this is what she has to do and threatens to call her. It was too early for frustration and I needed urgent care so I ended the registration and left. I think she was mad because I refused to respond to her and indicated that it was confidential when she asked me what was the reason for my visit and wanted specifics not the just "I'm sick" while she was registering the one other individual that was at this location. It's always empty for a reason."
"I took my child here for urgent care for an ear infection in March 2023. What happened at the clinic was certainly incompetence, maybe worse, and I recommend finding another provider instead of "Chai Urgent Care" which bills as "BP Immediate Knickerbocker." The staff did the intake with us at a kiosk— they ask the questions aloud, and they type in the answers. They took the insurance card and input it into the kiosk. They then examined the kid- by a nurse and by a Physician’s Assistant, and diagnosed an ear infection. They called in a prescription for antibiotics, said thank you, and that we could go pick it up. Everyone was super professional and competent, until we tried to leave. On the way out, the front staff seemed very upset, and asked us to sit back down in the lobby, and said there was a problem with our insurance. The staff was saying that the problem was that my child did not have insurance— we have had the same card for a long time, same insurance for a decade. After being told that we “cannot leave without paying full price,” I was put on the phone with a manager, who immediately accused me of falsely providing medical documents. They said our insurance told them that the parent was covered, but not the child, which was, of course, not true. I called my spouse and asked them to bring our actual printed policy from home. The Physician’s Assistant came out and whispered to the staff. It took about 30 minutes to find out from them that there was not a problem with the insurance- the problem was that the all tests and the antibiotics were done for the child, but on the parent's name. The PA left, then the staff told me that if anyone called me with positive test results, COVID, FLU, STREP, that it would say I had the illness, but it would mean really that my child had it. They said go pick up the antibiotics, that it would say they were for me, but it really would be for the child. This seemed outrageous and illegal. About this time, my spouse arrived with our actual insurance policy paperwork. They looked at this, appeared to make some calls, then they said the kid's insurance was indeed valid! They said now we could leave! We left, and will never be back."
