CityMD Ozone Park Urgent Care - Queens 102-02 Liberty Avenue, Queens, NY 11417

"Went in July for a bug bite, nurse practitioner took blood and said if the bite got worse to come back, went back 2 days later, doctor said it was a spider bite gave me an antibiotic. They illegally charged me a copay for a follow up appointment that they told me I didn’t have to pay when I called before the appointment. Have disputed the charge with them since July! Got a determination November 22 saying “the coding is correct”. While the staff is good, I’d rather die than go to citymd again."

"We were greeted and assisted by a young gentleman right away. He helped us with the initial process. we were pleasantly surprised. The clinic had only two parties ahead of us. After an hour and fifteen mins my nine y/old daughter suggested that I ask why there were ppl after us who been called. When I mentioned this to the receptionist we were called immediately. We were taken to a room and my daughter was given her vitals . At this point the place was a little busier. we were left in the room for another 15 mins without anyone saying a word us. I went to the hallway to flag someone. The doctor arrived to assist us. The assistant seemed to be everywhere..confused as to the covid/other tests. We were dissapointed with the facility. I mentioned my greviance to the young man who just seemed to shrug it off, not offered any apology. Altogether almost two hours wasted, my daughter was hungry and had homework to get done. "They need new medical staff. The female assistant has a nasty attitude and the male needs to be retrained because he wants to be a doctor and spent too much time in the room with you instead of getting the provider to evaluate you. And he give wrong information regarding testing procedures and results."

"The male manager was amazing! I forget his name, please accept my apologies. He was kind, informative and patient with me. I was in and out without any further a due. I went to the location on Liberty Ave and have no regrets. I’ve previously had a terrible experience at CityMD on Ralph Ave, Bklyn, NY but my experience at the Liberty Ave location was a pleasant redemption. That was my first time at the Liberty Ave location and I’ve decided that this is where I will seek urgent care needs. Keep up the good work Liberty Ave CityMD Crew!"
